Pedagogy provides a supportive framework for the Didactics of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science and ICT, i.e., for research on teaching and learning about these scientific domains. Focusing on the educational needs of students and teachers, Pedagogy is concerned with developing, implementing, and evaluating teaching-learning approaches that are appropriate to the above domains and developmentally compatible with student’s experiences, knowledge, and potential. In addition, it studies issues related to initial teacher education and training for teaching Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science and ICT.
