At the level of research, Physics Education studies a wide range of topics: the investigation of children&#8217;s mental representations of physics concepts and phenomena of the natural world, the didactic transposition of scientific knowledge into school knowledge, the creation of learning environments for the transformation of mental representations into mental entities compatible with the transformed\/school scientific knowledge of Physics. Physics Education also focuses on contemporary topics related to teaching through digital environments, teaching and learning physics concepts to special needs students, as well as teaching Physics through socioscientific issues.
